Word of the Lord for 2020

The Lord would say to His Bride, ‘My Beloved, you have crossed the threshold of the old to the new. You have stepped into My Timing for My End-Time Bride… for as I’ve taken you through your own desert and wilderness, where I have humbled, stripped, and prepared you, so I am taking you into your place of fruitfulness and harvest.

This next decade will speak of double-portion, double-anointing, and twin-birthing. This is the decade where twos will be running alongside each other in new ways. Old and young, rich and poor, strong and weak, men and women, fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, skilled and unskilled, and so on. I am connecting opposites to bring forth deliverance, salvation, restoration, blessing and unity. For where the enemy has brought a divide, I am going to turn it around, bringing healing to the most extreme opposites, binding them together to build My Kingdom in unprecedented ways.

Bride of Christ, you will build in the Light, and the world will see My Glory. For you are My Glory. The darkness that seems so great, will diminish more and more as you build in My Light. I am going to cause an explosion in all spheres of life as you take My Beauty and Light into your areas of influence. Suddenly, people will notice how dark the darkness has become, and they will be drawn to My Light. Movies, literature, games, fashion, music, theatre, and art, will have a major transformation. Just as history records the transition from the Middle Ages to the Rennaissance, so history will record this period as an awakening of the arts by Heaven’s Standard. It will be fresh, innovative, bright, light, pure, beautiful and unique.

I am calling My Bride to take her place in caring for those I care about. The poor, the needy, the orphaned, the prisoners, the widowed, the aged. Those who are defenceless and in need of help, are the ones I am calling you to. I am going to be giving assignments to My People, strategies and blueprints, in how to uplift nations at grassroots-level whilst being built yourselves. There will be new ways of doing business and entrepreneurship, for I am releasing creativity that will open up high ways in the most downtrodden nations. I am stepping in, and bringing aid through you, My creative Bride. Be ready to receive new ways of working.‘

Everything in this season is about Jesus. We have stepped into His Vision and Desire, and all we do and build is about what’s on His Heart. For the time is short, and the harvest ripe. Bride of Christ, remain the laid-down lover you are, keep your ears close to His Breath, hear His Voice, and know His Heart. There are things He is requiring us to lay down, things we can’t take with us in this new season. He is saying, ‘I am not permitting this’. He is calling us to run free with Him, where nothing and no one can hinder the work of His Spirit in and through us. He has prepared us for a time as this, give the enemy none of your new ground.

Church will not look the same in this decade. Fellowship, Truth and Spirit, will replace church traditions and structures. Cell churches will shoot up like new plants all over cities and nations. These churches will be known by their fruit and their power. For the Holy Spirit will be evident, and His miraculous and supernatural manifestation will confirm His Word. It will not be about degrees in theology, but the Word and the Spirit alive in God’s People. They will walk and talk as Christ did, with the host of Heaven backing them.

The Bride will call in the prodigals. They will gather the lost and bring them in. Those who stand far away, thinking they are unworthy, will be brought in through the love of God at work through His Bride. As Jesus sat with the prostitutes, so we will sit with the judged, and extend His Love and Grace.

The earth will witness the greatest transformations ever recorded in history. The key to this transformation is the love and forgiveness of God poured out on all flesh, bringing salvation, healing, and restoration to our people.

In this decade, the Lord is revealing different aspects of building the Kingdom to different people. He is giving revelation only in part, so that we need others alongside us in the building process. It’s in the joining of hands that His Picture will become clearer, and our vision firmer.

Just as Jacob had to leave Laban in order to inherit his own land, so we need to leave the old behind and walk with Jesus in the new direction He has for us. Let Him give you your New Name, clothe you in your New Mantle, and show you your New Land of Inheritance.

Isaiah 58:6-14

6Isn’t this the fast that I have chosen:
to break the chains of wickedness,
to untie the cords of the yoke,
to set the oppressed free
and tear off every yoke?
7Isn’t it to share your bread with the hungry,
to bring the poor and homeless into your home,
to clothe the naked when you see him,
and not to turn away
from your own flesh and blood?
8Then your light will break forth like the dawn,
and your healing will come quickly.
Your righteousness will go before you,
and the glory of the LORD will be your rear guard.
9Then you will call, and the LORD will answer;
you will cry out, and He will say, ‘Here I am.’
If you remove the yoke from your midst,
the pointing of the finger and malicious talk,
10and if you give yourself to the hungry
and satisfy the afflicted soul,
then your light will go forth in the darkness,
and your night will be like noonday.
11The LORD will always guide you;
He will satisfy you in a sun-scorched land
and strengthen your frame.
You will be like a well-watered garden,
like a spring whose waters never fail.
12Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins;
you will restore the age-old foundations;
you will be called Repairer of the Breach,
Restorer of the Streets of Dwelling.
13If you turn your foot from breaking the Sabbath,
from doing as you please on My holy day,
if you call the Sabbath a delight,
and the LORD’s holy day honorable,
if you honor it by not going your own way
or seeking your own pleasure or speaking idle words,
14then you will delight yourself in the LORD,
and I will make you ride on the heights of the land
and feed you with the heritage of your father Jacob.”
For the mouth of the LORD has spoken.
