It is such a wake-up call for us as a nation, to see how God has answered the prayers of His people in the USA this last week.
Dutch Sheets and Chuck Pierce have written a book together, ‘Releasing the Prophetic Destiny of a Nation’, in which they share how God had called them, a few years ago, to work together in uniting the Body of Christ across the nation, as prayer warriors and visionaries over their nation.
It is vital for us, as children of God, to hear what God is saying about our nation, what His promises are, and what His Kingdom rule looks like… we have to vote in Godly leadership who stand for Godly values and Kingdom principles. If we vote in a ‘good party’ – maybe the strongest opposition party, but one who supports anti-Christ agendas, we are in for big trouble… we, as Christians, will be the ones who will suffer and be persecuted under an ungodly, liberal administration. We see the damaging effects of this clearly when looking at the last 8 years of America. It has nearly cost America her constitution, her freedom, and her future. This is a wake-up call for all of us.
Don’t overlook the Pharaohs because of their imperfections and spiritual immaturity. God places the Pharaohs with the Josephs. Don’t underestimate the ability of God to use the imperfect. He uses the godly wisdom and insight of the Josephs, together with the influence, position, and authority of the Pharaohs, to save, deliver, and advance the nations, whose ears are open to God’s counsel.
Our stance with Israel will bring either a blessing or a curse upon our land. Those who stand with Israel will be blessed. God’s people – the Jews and Christians have to come together and stand united.
‘South Africa, this is your time, this is your hour to come together in unity and seek the Lord’s Face for our nation. People of God, rise up and be a people of prayer and worship. Take this land in the Spirit. Church of God, be no more silent or passive… but sing out with a voice of triumph… for the Lord, it is He who both hears and answers us when we humble ourselves and pray for our nation.
Stop pointing fingers, stop complaining, stop being afraid of tomorrow. Tomorrow belongs to the Lord, He is calling us forth, as a people of courage, a people of faith… who will stand in front of the Red Sea, stretching out our hands by faith, and walk over on dry land to the place of promise for this great nation.
She is the beloved of the Lord, precious in His sight. Her heart is of pure gold and her countenance is joy. For the Lord is her deliverer, He is the uplifter of her head. Africa, you are blessed. Your former years have been humble, but your latter will be fat and full.’
2 Chronicles 7:14
14 if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
Genesis 12:2,3
2 And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. 3 I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”c
