I’ve been hearing the Lord say, ‘Upskill for the upgrade’. The Lord’s Almighty Arm has moved into action. He is shifting, moving, changing, relocating, and releasing His army into their divine calling for this new era. We have waited and waited – the nighttime has been long, but the dawn has come and the breaking of the new day is here. Can you hear the sound of Heaven in the atmosphere?
The Lord has been showing me an athletic racing track, and I heard Him say, ‘you’ve entered the final lap. This is the lap of victory! Let your weakened and tired limbs be strengthened as you look ahead and see the final crossing line.’ When the Lord showed me this picture, I saw the earth as it’s gone through the various centuries and millennia on a timeline, and I heard Him say, ‘one day is as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day. My church needs to know that they are in the final lap of victory. You have crossed into a new era where I have struck the timeline with a new name. History is in the making and you are part of My last day which will manifest My victory for the earth, for I am loosening the bonds of slavery over the nations and I am setting a new order that will be established and upheld forever.’
In this crossover, the Lord is positioning us anew and afresh. We are facing a future in new directions and at higher altitudes. He is saying, ‘It is time to upskill for the upgrade.’ As Joseph, Mordecai, Esther, Nehemiah, David, Deborah, and many more, were promoted to public offices from a place of hiddenness, they had to learn the new protocols and skills needed to fulfil their new roles. There is a practical requirement to operate effectively in our new posts, for now, we will have greater influence, territory, stewardship, and ownership – and that requires learning new skills to hold our ground and expand within our new territory.
The Lord is saying, ‘be very flexible and open for what I’m doing in your life at this moment. Allow yourself to be surrounded by mentors who have gone further than you, for they will impart and activate the gifting that you carry. They will pull you higher and push you forward, they will mentor and guide you so that your skill level will increase and expand.’
The Lord showed me a picture of the older generation. They have incubated the seed that God has given them to carry. These are the promises over the nations and His church. The tiredness and weariness of the delay have discouraged many. For they have been ready to give birth to that seed that they faithfully incubated all these years. The Lord is saying, ‘I have planted this seed within your soul-womb where you faithfully stewarded it. You watched over it, prayed over it, wept and laboured to see it come forth. My beautiful beloved children, have you forgotten My Word that says, one plants and another waters? The seed I have placed deep within you, you carried, but a younger generation will birth and raise it, together with your council, wisdom, insight and knowledge. This birthing, raising and maturing of My promises for this era need both the young and old generation.
This is the era of honour. I am honouring those who have been faithful to steward what I’ve planted deep within them. You will reap the reward, you will eat from the land, but you will not labour in the field. Your voice will be heard in the field, as your laughter will echo in the air. For as Sarah gave birth at an old age, so you will see the sons and daughters of your womb come forth and live! They will not be born still, nor will their days be shortened. You will partake of the feasting and the plenty, and I will add years to your life to enjoy the fruit of your labours from the days of your incubation.
Sing those songs of old – the hymns and songs that exalt My Name. The ones that the older generations have engraved on their hearts from their youth. Release the songs that have been their prayers and intercession for decades. For these songs are gateways that will release My power as I connect the ‘then’ with the ‘now’. The painful delayed labour of the past will become the ‘now’ and ‘sudden’ delivery of the new. Look and see what I will do! There are new songs to be sung, but there are old songs that need to go on, for they carry an anointing that needs to be released with the new.
So open up your eyes and see that I have made provision for you in this upgrade. Take hold of the new opportunities to learn and grow, and welcome the new mentors and students into your life. I have ushered them in, see: they are coming from afar. I am binding My chosen together into unity… the nations are being balanced by the ushering in and sending out of My beloved. I am balancing the scales of institutions, governments and industry to bring forth My purposes through My people. The change that you see and feel is part of My handiwork to bring forth My promises in the nations.’
1 Corinthians 3:5-11
5Who is Apollos, really? Or who is Paul? Aren’t we both just servants through whom you believed our message? Aren’t each of us doing the ministry the Lord has assigned to us? 6I planted the church, and Apollos came and cared for it, but it was God who caused it to grow. 7This means the one who plants is not anybody special, nor the one who waters, for God is the one who brings the supernatural growth.
8Now, the one who plants and the one who waters are equally important and on the same team, but each will be rewarded for his own work. 9We are coworkers with God and you are God’s cultivated garden, the house he is building. 10God has given me unique gifts as a skilled master builder who lays a good foundation. Afterward another craftsman comes and builds on it. So builders beware! Let every builder do his work carefully, according to God’s standards. 11For no one is empowered to lay an alternative foundation other than the good foundation that exists, which is Jesus Christ!
2 Peter 3:8,9
8So, dear friends, don’t let this one thing escape your notice: a single day counts like a thousand years to the Lord Yahweh, and a thousand years counts as one day. 9This means that, contrary to man’s perspective, the Lord is not late with his promise to return, as some measure lateness. But rather, his “delay” simply reveals his loving patience toward you, because he does not want any to perish but all to come to repentance.
