The Time of Judgment has Come

A few days ago the Spirit of the Lord moved so deeply in my soul, it was as if I could feel the Lord’s pain and sorrow for the sins of the wicked and the impending judgment that awaits them.

A few days ago the Spirit of the Lord moved so deeply in my soul, it was as if I could feel the Lord’s pain and sorrow for the sins of the wicked and the impending judgment that awaits them. I felt His pain and was reminded of this scripture in Genesis 6:5-8,

The LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intention of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And the LORD regretted that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him to his heart. So the LORD said, “I will blot out man whom I have created from the face of the land, man and animals and creeping things and birds of the heavens, for I am sorry that I have made them.” But Noah found favor in the eyes of the LORD.

The Lord allows the enemy room up to a certain point to bring about His purposes in drawing His people back through captivity and suffering. However, there is a point where the enemy goes too far, and the Lord steps in, as read in Zechariah 1:15,

And I am exceedingly angry with the nations that are at ease; for while I was angry but a little, they furthered the disaster.

I’ve been hearing the Lord say, for a few years now, ‘A cleansing is coming. A cleansing is coming.’ There’s going to be a demolishing of wicked systems, it will be brought down to dust and ashes. The wicked leaders and all who swore allegiance to them, even those who were accomplices through their silence, will be dealt with by the Lord, Himself, as seen in the time of Pharaoh. The Lord has brought warnings, He has given time for repentance, but the time has run out. There is a shift in the heavenlies, a commission has gone forth to release the angels patrolling the earth, to bring forth the judgments of the Lord on the wicked so that the earth can be rebuilt and reestablished in righteousness, justice and truth.

We read in Isaiah 24 about the judgments of the Lord upon the earth, and in Ezekiel 9:4-6,

And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof. And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity: Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.

The Lord is sealing those who have cried out against the injustices and abominations in the earth, He is protecting them from the judgment that will come upon the wicked. The Lord is raising up new foundations with the children of His Right Hand, for they will restore justice and truth in the nations. The earth is the Lord’s and the fulness thereof, He is saying,

‘No more will the wicked prosper in their way. I will be a rock of stumbling to them, I will remove them from their place of influence and reign. For they have done abominable things on the earth, I am grieved by their wickedness, and My fury has been kindled.

I have called My people to repentance, I have called the nations back to Myself. The cries of the righteous ones have come before My ears and I have seen their faithfulness in seeking My face and standing against the evil of their times. The evil of lawlessness, corruption, idolatry, sexual immorality, and every base thing. I have seen their courage and boldness as they’ve spoken Truth in the face of evil. Now, I will help them. They will not stand alone, nor be left vulnerable as a lamb led to the slaughter. I am coming out of My holy dwelling place to defend and protect My own.

As Noah, Lot, and Rahab, with their families, were kept safe in the time of My fury, so I will keep you and your family safe in the time of My wrath. I am shaking the earth and I am bringing to account those who have done wickedly. I am doing a new thing, and I am bringing you through to a place of rich fulfilment and bountiful blessing. I will be the wall of fire around you and I will be the glory in your midst, and together, we will lay new foundations for future generations.’

Pray for the wicked, that they will be quick to repent, able to receive salvation from their sins. For even though the Lord brings judgment, His mercy and grace is available for all who call upon His Name. His heart grieves for every lost soul. Let’s pray for our enemies at this time.

Zechariah 1:9-17

Then I said, ‘What are these, my lord?’ The angel who talked with me said to me, ‘I will show you what they are.’ So the man who was standing among the myrtle trees answered, ‘These are they whom the LORD has sent to patrol the earth.’ And they answered the angel of the LORD who was standing among the myrtle trees, and said, ‘We have patrolled the earth, and behold, all the earth remains at rest.’

Then the angel of the LORD said, ‘O LORD of hosts, how long will you have no mercy on Jerusalem and the cities of Judah, against which you have been angry these seventy years?’ And the LORD answered gracious and comforting words to the angel who talked with me. So the angel who talked with me said to me, ‘Cry out, Thus says the LORD of hosts: I am exceedingly jealous for Jerusalem and for Zion. And I am exceedingly angry with the nations that are at ease; for while I was angry but a little, they furthered the disaster.

Therefore, thus says the LORD, I have returned to Jerusalem with mercy; my house shall be built in it, declares the LORD of hosts, and the measuring line shall be stretched out over Jerusalem. Cry out again, Thus says the LORD of hosts: My cities shall again overflow with prosperity, and the LORD will again comfort Zion and again choose Jerusalem.’”

Zechariah 2

And I lifted my eyes and saw, and behold, a man with a measuring line in his hand! Then I said, “Where are you going?” And he said to me, “To measure Jerusalem, to see what is its width and what is its length.” And behold, the angel who talked with me came forward, and another angel came forward to meet him and said to him, “Run, say to that young man, ‘Jerusalem shall be inhabited as villages without walls, because of the multitude of people and livestock in it. And I will be to her a wall of fire all around, declares the LORD, and I will be the glory in her midst.’”

Up! Up! Flee from the land of the north, declares the LORD. For I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the heavens, declares the LORD. Up! Escape to Zion, you who dwell with the daughter of Babylon. For thus said the LORD of hosts, after his glory sent me to the nations who plundered you, for he who touches you touches the apple of his eye: “Behold, I will shake my hand over them, and they shall become plunder for those who served them.

Then you will know that the LORD of hosts has sent me. Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion, for behold, I come and I will dwell in your midst, declares the LORD. And many nations shall join themselves to the LORD in that day, and shall be my people. And I will dwell in your midst, and you shall know that the LORD of hosts has sent me to you. And the LORD will inherit Judah as his portion in the holy land, and will again choose Jerusalem.”

Be silent, all flesh, before the LORD, for he has roused himself from his holy dwelling.

Isaiah 26:20,21

Come, my people, enter your chambers,
and shut your doors behind you;
hide yourselves for a little while
until the fury has passed by.
For behold, the LORD is coming out from his place
to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity,
and the earth will disclose the blood shed on it,
and will no more cover its slain.
