I would like to share with you what the Lord has been revealing to me about Africa this week,
“Africa, you are Mine. I am declaring it over you, again and again, for I want you to know that there is a war going on over your territory. The enemy has raised up a people who have claimed you as their own, and with devious hearts, they have set you up for a time as this. Bride of Christ, wake up! This is the time of Esther! You have been set up by an enemy fierce and violent, who has said in their hearts, ‘We have scooped up the nations, but we are keeping the best for last. Africa is ours, and she will be our easiest-picking.’
Just as Esther’s eyes opened to the enemy’s plans, so I am smearing My Salve on your eyes so you can see that which had been planned in secret, even long ago. Just as she had a responsibility to seek My Face and speak Truth, exposing the enemy’s plans, so you are called with great responsibility to seek Me, and declare, loudly and boldly, My Truth at this critical time. For there is a war going on, and unless you speak and take your place, you and your people will suffer greatly.
I am going to expose the heart and intent of the enemy through your opposition to evil by speaking and standing firm on Truth, saying ‘No’ to what he determines to implement in South Africa. His fury will be kindled, the hidden battle unleashed, and all his plans will be brought into the light. It is through this exposure that I will break his hold over this nation. Wake up, African Bride of Christ, and be bold. This is your hour to take your place as an Esther over Africa.
South Africa, you are called and set apart as Mine. There will be a tipping point in this hour as you stand against evil. Everything that has been set up against you, I will turn around and use for your good. Stand in My authority and speak… for this is the time to let your voice be heard. Be not silent, be not passive, and be not afraid… speak My Truth, and see what I will do!
Bride of Christ, repent from your sins. Ask the Lord to show you any idolatry in your hearts so that you yourselves can be set free from the yokes of the enemy. Who will speak for Me? Who will stand in the gap for this nation? Who will have the courage to oppose the enemy with the Sword of My Truth? I am seeking out those who have clean hands and pure hearts, who have not lifted up their souls to what is false, nor sworn deceitfully. (Exodus 4:12, Psalm 24:4)
I, Myself, am with you to fight for you and to give you this nation as an inheritance. I am your Lord, Your God, who battles for you. Take up your place, awake from your slumber… for you are instrumental in the saving of this nation.” (Joshua 1:5, Romans 13:11)
Important points to ponder:
When the Lord keeps repeating the same thing, He is trying to get our attention because it is important and urgent! What does it mean when the Lord is saying that we are living in a time as Esther?
• There’s a dangerous plot set against God’s People.
• Revelation is needed to understand and uncover what is hidden.
• Favour is given when we step out boldly.
• Truth exposes and disempowers the enemy and his plots.
• The Lord saves His People.
• The enemy falls into his own trap.
Ephesians 5:1-14
1Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. 2And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
3But sexual immorality and all impurity or covetousness must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints. 4Let there be no filthiness nor foolish talk nor crude joking, which are out of place, but instead let there be thanksgiving. 5For you may be sure of this, that everyone who is sexually immoral or impure, or who is covetous (that is, an idolater), has no inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. 6Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. 7Therefore do not become partners with them; 8for at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light 9(for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true), 10and try to discern what is pleasing to the Lord. 11Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. 12For it is shameful even to speak of the things that they do in secret. 13But when anything is exposed by the light, it becomes visible, 14for anything that becomes visible is light. Therefore it says,
“Awake, O sleeper,
and arise from the dead,
and Christ will shine on you.”
Revelation 3:18
18I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, so that you may be rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness may not be seen, and salve to anoint your eyes, so that you may see.
Esther 4:12-16
12And they told Mordecai what Esther had said. 13Then Mordecai told them to reply to Esther, “Do not think to yourself that in the king’s palace you will escape any more than all the other Jews. 14For if you keep silent at this time, relief and deliverance will rise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” 15Then Esther told them to reply to Mordecai, 16“Go, gather all the Jews to be found in Susa, and hold a fast on my behalf, and do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. I and my young women will also fast as you do. Then I will go to the king, though it is against the law, and if I perish, I perish.”c1
Esther 5:1-3
1On the third day Esther put on her royal robes and stood in the inner court of the king’s palace, in front of the king’s quarters, while the king was sitting on his royal throne inside the throne room opposite the entrance to the palace. 2And when the king saw Queen Esther standing in the court, she won favor in his sight, and he held out to Esther the golden scepter that was in his hand. Then Esther approached and touched the tip of the scepter. 3And the king said to her, “What is it, Queen Esther? What is your request? It shall be given you, even to the half of my kingdom.”
Esther 7:1-6, 9,10
1So the king and Haman went in to feast with Queen Esther. 2And on the second day, as they were drinking wine after the feast, the king again said to Esther, “What is your wish, Queen Esther? It shall be granted you. And what is your request? Even to the half of my kingdom, it shall be fulfilled.” 3Then Queen Esther answered, “If I have found favor in your sight, O king, and if it please the king, let my life be granted me for my wish, and my people for my request. 4For we have been sold, I and my people, to be destroyed, to be killed, and to be annihilated. If we had been sold merely as slaves, men and women, I would have been silent, for our affliction is not to be compared with the loss to the king.” 5Then King Ahasuerus said to Queen Esther, “Who is he, and where is he, who has dareda to do this?” 6And Esther said, “A foe and enemy! This wicked Haman!” Then Haman was terrified before the king and the queen.
9Then Harbona, one of the eunuchs in attendance on the king, said, “Moreover, the gallowsb that Haman has prepared for Mordecai, whose word saved the king, is standing at Haman’s house, fifty cubitsc high.” And the king said, “Hang him on that.” 10So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then the wrath of the king abated.
