Taking our Inheritance through Battle

Just as the Israelites had to face giants in their land of promise, so the Lord is calling His Bride to a place of tenacious determination to take hold of their promised inheritance even in the midst of great opposition and battle.

For the enemy of our souls are filled with determined hatred and evil intention towards us, His Bride. 2017 was a year of survival for many, but 2018 is our year of victory. Praise is the key to victory. If you have an instrument, pick it up and sing! Or put your favourite praise and worship music on and join along. Let your voice be heard in the heavenlies. Let the enemies be scattered at the sound of your praise.

When you see the enemy advancing towards you, or you feel sideswiped by a calamity that hit you like an unexpected wind, do not sit in despair, but actively stand up and shout, ‘The Lord is my Victory!’ Nothing, absolutely nothing, will keep you from inheriting God’s promises, oh precious ones, beloved of the Lord.

Let your hearts be made strong as you sing His song of praise and victory. The Lord be magnified!

Joshua 6:2-5

2Then the Lord said to Joshua, “See, I have delivered Jericho into your hands, along with its king and its fighting men. 3March around the city once with all the armed men. Do this for six days. 4Have seven priests carry trumpets of rams’ horns in front of the ark. On the seventh day, march around the city seven times, with the priests blowing the trumpets. 5When you hear them sound a long blast on the trumpets, have the whole army give a loud shout; then the wall of the city will collapse and the army will go up, everyone straight in.”

Psalm 70:1-5

1{To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David, to bring to remembrance.} Make haste, O God, to deliver me; make haste to help me, O LORD.

2Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul: let them be turned backward, and put to confusion, that desire my hurt.

3Let them be turned back for a reward of their shame that say, Aha, aha.

4Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.

5But I am poor and needy: make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help and my deliverer; O LORD, make no tarrying.

1 Corinthians 15:57

57But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
