Return to Him Again

The Lord is calling creation to return to Him again. Those who have stumbled and strayed along their way, He is calling back to Himself again.

The Lord is calling creation to return to Him again. Those who have stumbled and strayed along their way, He is calling back to Himself again. For our sins have separated us from Him, our idolatry and foolish pride in the work of our hands and ability have brought judgment upon us and our people.

Forsaking His ways, esteeming our own humanistic mind above the mind of Christ, have caused us to raise a millennial youth, selfish in all their ways, arrogant, undisciplined, lovers and promoters of themselves.

Hear the words of the Lord, He is calling us to return to Him again. Repent of our sins, and repent on behalf of the sins of our offspring.

The Lord our God is One God. He alone shall we serve.

Israel, God’s chosen people… ‘Come home!’
Precious prodigals who have lost their way, ‘Come home!’
Lost sheep who are walking astray, ‘Come home!’

For your Heavenly Father is calling each of us back to Him again. For He will heal us, He will restore us, He will revive us. He will lavish us with His goodness, beautify us and bless us with abundance.

Come Home to Me (Lyrics) © Kirsten Rossiter 2016

Verse:
You are Mine, do you know

You’ve always been – Mine
You belong to Me, don’t believe the lie
That you don’t come from Me
I, I am calling you, you have gone astray
You’ve lost your way

Chorus:
Throughout all the ages, from the beginning
You’ve been on My mind, long before all time
You are My story, My love story
You’re the one, you’ve always been
My heart sings about, My words ring out loud
I love you, I always have

Bridge:
Come home to Me, the door is open

Come home to Me, the fire’s ablaze
Come home to Me, the table is set
Just for you, I’m waiting here
My arms – so big, so strong, so wide
They’re waiting for you, to run into.

Deutoronomy 6:4-9

4“Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one.b 5You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. 6And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. 7You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. 8You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. 9You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

Hosea 14

O Israel, return to the Lord your God,
For you have stumbled because of your iniquity;
2 Take words with you,
And return to the Lord.
Say to Him,
“Take away all iniquity;
Receive us graciously,
For we will offer the sacrifices[a] of our lips.
3 Assyria shall not save us,
We will not ride on horses,
Nor will we say anymore to the work of our hands, ‘You are our gods.’
For in You the fatherless finds mercy.”
4 “I will heal their backsliding,
I will love them freely,
For My anger has turned away from him.
5 I will be like the dew to Israel;
He shall grow like the lily,
And lengthen his roots like Lebanon.
6 His branches shall spread;
His beauty shall be like an olive tree,
And his fragrance like Lebanon.
7 Those who dwell under his shadow shall return;
They shall be revived like grain,
And grow like a vine.
Their scent[b] shall be like the wine of Lebanon.
8 “Ephraim shall say, ‘What have I to do anymore with idols?’
I have heard and observed him.
I am like a green cypress tree;
Your fruit is found in Me.”
9 Who is wise?
Let him understand these things.
Who is prudent?
Let him know them.
For the ways of the Lord are right;
The righteous walk in them,
But transgressors stumble in them.
