The Lord has been showing me a picture of a drain, with water flowing out of it. I heard the Lord say, ‘Just as I revealed My Will to Jeremiah during a time of rebellion, giving direction, an opportunity for repentance, and the understanding of My Purposes in the midst of approaching captivity and calamity, so I am revealing My Will to My People. For I work all things together for good, and I use what you seem ‘unfit’ to bring My Purposes about.’
The water flowing out of the drain was the wealth leaving South Africa. I heard Him say, ‘I am humbling the government of South Africa. For just as I gave Israel and Judah time to repent, so I have given the government time to repent from their prideful, arrogant ways. This is My Nation, and I am pulling the plug that has kept the wealth in this nation. I am causing an economic downturn that will continue until they fall on their knees, repent, and embrace unity in this nation.
Do not be afraid when you see the economic climate decrease, nor be afraid when you see people leave for other nations. For I am sending many out at this time, but I am also keeping a remnant here whom I will bless on this soil. Do not leave unless I call you to. Do not stay if I ask you to leave. Hear and obey, for My Spirit is moving and working in a new way. Trust Me where I call you… for there I will provide for you.’
I then saw a new picture of wide, gushing river streams flowing from all directions back into South Africa, and I heard the Lord say, ‘When this government falls on their knees and repents, embracing humility and unity, I will birth a new system that will cause other nations to partner with South Africa. Even the very ‘Bright Lights’ that I’ve sent out of South Africa into the nations, will be the ones who will spearhead the partnerships and investments that will flow back into this nation. This nation will be built from a Global Market, foreign currency will flow back in, stronger and quicker than ever before.
Know that I am seated on the Throne, and I am working all things for your good, South Africa. I have heard the cries of My People, I have seen your suffering. Know that I am moving My Arm of Salvation in this hour. Anyone who rebels and comes against My Workings, I will remove. Just as I delivered Israel from Egypt, so I will deliver South Africa from wicked, corrupt and arrogant governance. Behold the Lord, behold My Fury, My Glory and My Power as I shake this government until they fall on their knees.’
12Then the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah: 13“Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Go and say to the people of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, Will you not receive instruction and listen to my words? declares the LORD. 14The command that Jonadab the son of Rechab gave to his sons, to drink no wine, has been kept, and they drink none to this day, for they have obeyed their father’s command. I have spoken to you persistently, but you have not listened to me. 15I have sent to you all my servants the prophets, sending them persistently, saying, ‘Turn now every one of you from his evil way, and amend your deeds, and do not go after other gods to serve them, and then you shall dwell in the land that I gave to you and your fathers.’ But you did not incline your ear or listen to me. 16The sons of Jonadab the son of Rechab have kept the command that their father gave them, but this people has not obeyed me. 17Therefore, thus says the LORD, the God of hosts, the God of Israel: Behold, I am bringing upon Judah and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem all the disaster that I have pronounced against them, because I have spoken to them and they have not listened, I have called to them and they have not answered.”
18But to the house of the Rechabites Jeremiah said, “Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Because you have obeyed the command of Jonadab your father and kept all his precepts and done all that he commanded you, 19therefore thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Jonadab the son of Rechab shall never lack a man to stand before me.”
15The word of the LORD came to Jeremiah while he was shut up in the court of the guard: 16“Go, and say to Ebed-melech the Ethiopian, ‘Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Behold, I will fulfill my words against this city for harm and not for good, and they shall be accomplished before you on that day. 17But I will deliver you on that day, declares the LORD, and you shall not be given into the hand of the men of whom you are afraid. 18For I will surely save you, and you shall not fall by the sword, but you shall have your life as a prize of war, because you have put your trust in me, declares the LORD.’”
