In the midst of last week’s events in the Cape Province – the storm in Cape Town and the huge fires spreading up the Garden Route, I felt the Lord say, that the next two years leading up to the elections will be a time of national shaking. Everything that can shake, will be shaken. Everything that can fall, will fall. For in the natural, things will seem very dark and very hopeless, but in the Spirit, this very current climate of shaking will be the springboard for the Bride of Christ to run in her destiny for this time, and the time ahead.
The Bride of Christ is called as an Esther in current times. She is destined to stand in her kingly anointing before her beloved King, beseeching Him for the salvation and future of her people. Though she stands whilst the enemy is plotting and planning against her and her people, God will save her, He will cause the enemy to fall in his own trap.
This is not the time to give in, or to give up. This is the time to stand, to pray, to declare, to praise. Be not afraid by what you read, hear or see. Hold fast onto God, your refuge and your rock. Let Him be the One to deliver the enemy into your hands. Let Him cause the evildoers to fall into their own traps.
Walk with purpose. Know that you are called for a time as this.
This is your moment. This is your hour. This is your day.
14 For if you keep silent at this time, relief and deliverance will rise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”
9 Then Harbona, one of the eunuchs in attendance on the king, said, “Moreover, the gallowsb that Haman has prepared for Mordecai, whose word saved the king, is standing at Haman’s house, fifty cubitsc high.” And the king said, “Hang him on that.” 10 So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then the wrath of the king abated.
4 For you are not a God who delights in wickedness;
evil may not dwell with you.
5 The boastful shall not stand before your eyes;
you hate all evildoers.
6 You destroy those who speak lies;
the LORD abhors the bloodthirsty and deceitful man.
