Leading in Times of War

God has been preparing righteous men and women to lead the nations in times of war. I’ve been having vivid spiritual dreams in the last while, this being the message from my last dream,

The Lord would say, ‘I am raising up Davids in this hour. For the era of peace upon the earth is over, a new era of war is dawning. The nations who seek Me, will find Me and I will set godly men and women over them to lead them during these times of war. For just as I have prepared David in the field, amongst the sheep, and in My Presence, so I have prepared men and women in the hidden places of My Pastures.

By My Spirit, I will elevate them, I will call them forth, I will appoint them, for I have anointed them for the task that lies ahead in this season. For as David was called in a time of war, so I am calling forth men and women of righteousness and truth who will walk in humility, dependancy and complete trust in Me.

You say, ‘Lord, I have been faithful, and yet I see no fruit.’ The Lord is saying to you, ‘I have kept you in the place of hiddenness where I have been your only sustenance. I have been working deep, placing My iron rod in your back, for you will not be able to lead and run in this season without My Strength and My Courage.

Be not afraid, My people, for I am your God, and I am seated on the Throne. This is the time of My People being lifted up and seated in prominent positions of leadership, authority, and responsibility. You will not look at the enemy afraid, but a Holy indignation and wrath will rise up within you, to face him head-on and strike him down by My Spirit.’

For the devil is raging wildly, he is filled with violent wrath. For he knows his clock is ticking, his days ending. We, and all God’s creation, are his enemy… he is determined to destroy us completely. But God, the Holy One of Israel, the Almighty Eternal One, is on our side, is our Shelter and Defender… and He is saying, ‘I have anointed you for this. You will stand before the giants, shouting out their fate. You will slay them by My Spirit, they will fall dead upon their face.’

Psalm 27

The LORD Is My Light and My Salvation

Of David.

1The LORD is my light and my salvation;
whom shall I fear?
The LORD is the strongholda of my life;
of whom shall I be afraid?

2When evildoers assail me
to eat up my flesh,
my adversaries and foes,
it is they who stumble and fall.

3Though an army encamp against me,
my heart shall not fear;
though war arise against me,
yetb I will be confident.

4One thing have I asked of the LORD,
that will I seek after:
that I may dwell in the house of the LORD
all the days of my life,
to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD
and to inquirec in his temple.

5For he will hide me in his shelter
in the day of trouble;
he will conceal me under the cover of his tent;
he will lift me high upon a rock.

6And now my head shall be lifted up
above my enemies all around me,
and I will offer in his tent
sacrifices with shouts of joy;
I will sing and make melody to the LORD.

7Hear, O LORD, when I cry aloud;
be gracious to me and answer me!
8You have said, “Seekd my face.”
My heart says to you,
“Your face, LORD, do I seek.”e
9Hide not your face from me.
Turn not your servant away in anger,
O you who have been my help.
Cast me not off; forsake me not,
O God of my salvation!
10For my father and my mother have forsaken me,
but the LORD will take me in.

11Teach me your way, O LORD,
and lead me on a level path
because of my enemies.
12Give me not up to the will of my adversaries;
for false witnesses have risen against me,
and they breathe out violence.

13I believe that I shall lookf upon the goodness of the LORD
in the land of the living!
14Wait for the LORD;
be strong, and let your heart take courage;
wait for the LORD!
