Remind yourself today of who you are, and what your position is in God’s Kingdom. You are the head and not the tail, above and not beneath, favored and not despised, a son and not a slave.
Everything has been accomplished through Christ on the cross and his resurrection. Our lives are rescued, restored and brought into perfect alignment with our Father through the work of Christ’s righteousness. We can come boldly before the throne of Grace, as children and heirs of the Most High God.
Your position is eternal
Know your position when you face adversity, know your authority when condemnation, judgement or fear knocks at your door. You are purchased with a price, and have been set free from the chains of sin and death… set apart for a life of holiness and victory, with a vision that’s immortal and eternal. No more does death carry a sting, there’s nothing to fear. For Perfect Love casts out all fear, and we are living in the shadow of the Almighty, where His presence continually surrounds us. We are seated with Him in heavenly places, to rule and reign over the powers and principalities of this world.
To co-labour with Him, we must know our authority and position in Him. Salt to season and light to guide. Let’s build His Kingdom, not by might, but by the Spirit of the Living God.
1 Corinthians 15:51-58
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? 56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
1 John 4:4
4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
1 John 4:18
18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
