How to access His JOY!

Why is the devil so adamant to steal our joy? He strategically targets it, knowing that as he robs us of it, he also drains us of our strength.

How do we access His Joy continually? How do we choose joy even when our circumstances are shaken to the core?

The Lord is calling us to live in complete and utter trust in Him. Every time we face an obstacle, regardless how big or small, He wants us to hand the reigns of fear and control over to Him, trusting that He is in control of our situation and letting Him solve it His Way.

When we have nothing to fear, nothing to control, nothing to loose, and nothing to strive for, we can rejoice in God, our Maker, Who fights our battles for us, Who continually watches over us, and Who holds our entire life in His Care… forever! That is a life that is burden-free through choice.

Lay down your worries and cares of this life, lay down your unanswered prayers. For the Lord, Who sits on the Throne of your life, is working on your behalf, all He is asking of you is this, ‘Trust in Me with ALL your heart, and lean not on your own understanding.’ For in that place is your joy, in that place is your peace, and in that place is contentment beyond anything this life could ever offer.

Proverbs 3:5,6

5Trust in the LORD with all your heart,
and do not lean on your own understanding.
6In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make straight your paths.

Nehemiah 8:10

And do not be grieved, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.
