Thát which God has called us to, is so much bigger than ourselves. We tend to focus on our own lives, our own vision, and our own dreams within our natural abilities… but even our biggest dreams are smaller than thát which He has in store for us.
I am constantly speechless and amazed at even the smallest hint of His incredible plan. Be ready to receive new ideas and downloads from Heaven, that will stretch you far out of your current sphere… God is handing out mantles and callings to His children who are birthed in the Spirit and will be empowered and propelled by His Spirit, taking you further, higher, and wider into places you haven’t tread before.
We live in a world where we like to plan ahead, put things in their proper place, and control the route to the outcome of our vision/dream/desire. In this time, God is interrupting our small, limited perspectives, and stretching them, to transcend from our natural to His Spiritual sphere. He doesn’t work the way we work. He doesn’t qualify the strong, the mighty, the confident, and the able.
He is looking for humble, ready, willing, surrendered hearts that He can trust, use, and mold. Children that have courage to step into the unknown, as Abraham did, and run with a vision from Heaven that is so big, that they know without God’s Spirit’s empowerment and guidance, it will never be possible.
I love the story of Moses in the Bible… he was not a great speaker and felt incapable of leading God’s people out of slavery and into their inheritance. But God chose him, regardless of his natural limitations. It is important that we ask God to show us His picture for our lives. We must embrace it without fear of our own limitations, for He enables and empowers us for the task He has called us to. God will put the right people around us to help us fulfill our destinies.
God has given me many impressions, words, and promises for my life since I was a young girl. But He is continually opening up those words and shedding more light on the details of His plans… He is showing me angles and perspectives that I have never seen before. It is so much bigger than me… He is a big God, with a big plan, for a big world… and we are part of it.
The way forward is one step at a time. Listen for His voice, and obey His call. He shows us the details, step-by-step… even if we don’t know how it’s going to turn out down the line. Sometimes we only have a general idea, but no detail to get us there, except His small voice for the next step. He leads us daily, He feeds us daily, He sustains us daily.
Let’s be patient, trusting, and ready to step out and be surprised at the unfolding detail as we walk one day at a time.
Exodus 3:11,12
11 But Moses said to God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?” 12 He said, “But I will be with you, and this shall be the sign for you, that I have sent you: when you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain.”
Phillipians 2:12,13
12 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, 13 for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.
Isaiah 55:8,9
8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.
