Battle-Weary or Not, Evict the Locusts Off your Land!

‘It’s time to evict the locusts off your land! Let the king and watchman arise in you! Take hold of your authority in Me and command the locusts to flee.’

The Lord showed me a vision of locusts and said,

‘It’s time to evict the locusts off your land! Let the king and watchman arise in you! Take hold of your authority in Me and command the locusts to flee. For your season has changed. The time of testing is over, the time of delay is over! No more will you stand empty-handed and intimidated by the invasion on your land. It is the Isaiah 60 moment of ‘Arise and shine!’ Get up and fight! Even though you feel battle-weary, know that My strength is made perfect in your weakness. Lean into Me with all your strength, stand on My Word, and speak as a king, and you will see a new-found vigour and energy arise as you press into Me.’

The enemy is finding entrance through our emotions when we are tired and weary. It is imperative that we immerse ourselves in the presence of God in this time. We have come through the fiery trial, we have crossed the Jordan, we are camping outside Jericho, ready to take the land and plough its fields. Don’t believe the lie that you are still in the wilderness by what you see in the natural, but open your eyes to see the Commander of the Army of the Lord as He stands before you:

And he said, “No; but I am the commander of the army of the Lord. Now I have come.” And Joshua fell on his face to the earth and worshiped and said to him, “What does my lord say to his servant?” When Joshua was by Jericho, he lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, a man was standing before him with his drawn sword in his hand. And Joshua went to him and said to him, “Are you for us, or for our adversaries?” And the commander of the Lord ’s army said to Joshua, “Take off your sandals from your feet, for the place where you are standing is holy.” And Joshua did so. (Josh. 5:13-15)

Standing on holy ground, He is saying, ‘at this refreshment post, take time to rest. Take time to recover in My presence, for the running of the new season will require a level of sustaining power that can only be found in Me. If you continue to do some of the things as you’ve done before, you will burnout and fall out of the race. I will give you wisdom, understanding and discernment, in how to achieve the right pace in this new race.

Do only what I show you, for I am going to cause the greatest momentum in the building of My Kingdom on the earth, not through you doing more, but through you doing, with laser-beam-focus, what I have called you to do. When My Bride comes together in unity to build One Kingdom, in complete surrender and obedience to My Voice, spoken individually, the world will see the transformation I have promised.

You will see the display of God’s power that puts thousands to flight through two things:

1. Binding yourself to God.

It’s in trust that you are saved. The Lord delights and takes great pleasure when His people who are called by His Name, puts all their trust and hope in Him, knowing that He is the One who saves! He is saying,

Come up into the High Places, for it’s here where every knee must bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord of all. The enemy’s realm of influence is below My Heavens, ascend into the High Places of Zion with Me so that the earth will become your footstool, where you will tread upon his head. He is under your feet when you ascend!

For the Lord has driven out before you great and strong nations. And as for you, no man has been able to stand before you to this day. One man of you puts to flight a thousand, since it is the Lord your God who fights for you, just as he promised you. (Josh. 23:9-10)

2. Binding yourself to His Body.

The Lord is calling His Remnant to come together in unity so we can build His Kingdom effectively in every sphere, culture, nation, and tribe. The Kingdom of God is built through diversity working in unity, serving one another in love.

There is a loud call for the members of the Body of Christ to come together. The Lord has separated us in the wilderness to bring forth the circumcision of our hearts, but He has brought us out, and is calling us to unite once again. That which was done in private, in the chambers of our King, is complete, a new day has come.

We walk alone when we are under the knife of His hand, but when the work is done, we must come into our ranks. The land before us cannot be taken individually. It can only be taken when we enter and fight, many members, but one body. There is a great release of strength to the whole, when each member fulfils their individual function. As we support one another, partnering and colaborating together, we will find ourselves working more strategically and sustainably.

One of us puts a thousand to flight, but two of us put ten thousand to flight. Multiplication sets in when we work in unity, led by the Spirit. (Deut. 32:30)

Evict the locusts off your land through your speech and deeds. Speak what God has decreed over you as prophet, priest, and king of your land. Let His strength become yours as you surround yourself with Him. Take physical action as a vital member of One Body, serving your King and your fellow-brothers in unity and humility.

Ephesians 6:12

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.

James 4:7

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Joel 2:18-27

Then the Lord became jealous for his land and had pity on his people. The Lord answered and said to his people, “Behold, I am sending to you grain, wine, and oil, and you will be satisfied; and I will no more make you a reproach among the nations. “I will remove the northerner far from you, and drive him into a parched and desolate land, his vanguard into the eastern sea, and his rear guard into the western sea; the stench and foul smell of him will rise, for he has done great things.

“Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice, for the Lord has done great things! Fear not, you beasts of the field, for the pastures of the wilderness are green; the tree bears its fruit; the fig tree and vine give their full yield. “Be glad, O children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God, for he has given the early rain for your vindication; he has poured down for you abundant rain, the early and the latter rain, as before.

“The threshing floors shall be full of grain; the vats shall overflow with wine and oil. I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the hopper, the destroyer, and the cutter, my great army, which I sent among you. “You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, who has dealt wondrously with you. And my people shall never again be put to shame. You shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the Lord your God and there is none else. And my people shall never again be put to shame.

1 Peter 4:12,13

Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice insofar as you share Christ’s sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed.

Romans 8:16,17

The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.
