I keep hearing the Lord say, ‘This is the year of the great exchange where My people will trample on the scorpions and adders, destroying the works of darkness set against them, putting in motion My miraculous intervention of protection, provision and blessing. It is in the lifting of your burdens in complete trust that I will give you rest in the midst of the battle, exchanging your heaviness for My joy, for in it lies your strength.
Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” (Matt. 11:28-30)
You have turned for me my mourning into dancing;
you have loosed my sackcloth
and clothed me with gladness,
that my glory may sing your praise and not be silent.
O LORD my God, I will give thanks to you forever! (Ps. 30:11-12)
Meditate upon My Word of Truth, for I am your Faithful Father who keeps My covenant forever, bringing My people into their inheritance as promised.
He remembers his covenant forever,
the word that he commanded, for a thousand generations,
the covenant that he made with Abraham,
his sworn promise to Isaac,
which he confirmed to Jacob as a statute,
to Israel as an everlasting covenant,
saying, “To you I will give the land of Canaan
as your portion for an inheritance.” (Psalm 105:8-11)
I’m calling My Bride to come up higher where My answers await those who take hold of My Promises until they inherit them. As Jacob wrestled with Me, so I am calling My people to push through and prevail, for I am the God who encounters those who seek Me with all their hearts. As I exchanged Jacob’s name for Israel, so I am exchanging your name, for you have striven with God and with men, and have prevailed.
The same night he arose and took his two wives, his two female servants, and his eleven children, and crossed the ford of the Jabbok. He took them and sent them across the stream, and everything else that he had. And Jacob was left alone. And a man wrestled with him until the breaking of the day. When the man saw that he did not prevail against Jacob, he touched his hip socket, and Jacob’s hip was put out of joint as he wrestled with him. Then he said, “Let me go, for the day has broken.” But Jacob said, “I will not let you go unless you bless me.” And he said to him, “What is your name?” And he said, “Jacob.” Then he said, “Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel, for you have striven with God and with men, and have prevailed.” Then Jacob asked him, “Please tell me your name.” But he said, “Why is it that you ask my name?” And there he blessed him. So Jacob called the name of the place Peniel, saying, “For I have seen God face to face, and yet my life has been delivered.” The sun rose upon him as he passed Penuel, limping because of his hip. Therefore to this day the people of Israel do not eat the sinew of the thigh that is on the hip socket, because he touched the socket of Jacob’s hip on the sinew of the thigh. (Gen. 32:22-32)
I am taking My holy remnant into the realm of the supernatural where all things are provided for as they look to Me alone. I promise healing to the sick, deliverance to the bound, salvation to the lost, and provision to the poor. Take hold of My promises and bring forth the exchange that is needed, for you have been given the keys of the Kingdom to set the nations free! As you look upward and outward, I will cause a multiplication of provision as you share your bread and oil with those in need. This is the hour of open gateways and open heavens as you petition My Throne for those around you. You will step into your role as history-maker and world-shaper as you release My glory and demonstrate My power upon the earth.
My church is called to walk in power. Start doing the work of the ministry wherever you are and see how I will show up and surprise you and all those around you! I am waiting for My children to step out of their comfort zones into the places of need. Step on those scorpions and adders, they are under your feet!
For you, My beloved, have come through the fire of My testing where I have prepared you for a time as this. That which I’m exposing will require a humble, pure and holy people, ready to take hold of the plough to work the fields in nations. I am uprooting the wicked schemes of those caught in greed, pride and lust. As I exposed Haman, so I am exposing the wickedness quickly and suddenly. My light is shining and no one can hide in My brightness.
I have been raising up My army so that when the exposure comes, there will be a manifestation of My sons and daughters as they step into their positions laid vacant by those who have been caught in the trap of wickedness. You will see and understand the heat of the fire of your testing, and you will understand the gravity of your call in this new era. I am appointing My chosen ones as I appointed David. In the caves you have been trained, and by My Hand you will be promoted into your place of authority.
For I am setting in place a leadership of humility, dependability and teachability. A people who cannot be bought or bribed as the generation before. Great wickedness have been done in the nations and I am wiping away that generation who have committed the most abominable acts of evil.
There will be a weeping in the streets as the exposure increases. A time of lament for the lives of those who have suffered under the hands of the evil one. A time of repentance and remorse for the sins of the nations, a turning away from the pagan ways that have enslaved and blinded them.
A renewed commitment to the God of their forefathers will cause nations to rewrite laws that will uphold My laws and statutes again. This is the year of the great exchange, where that which is soiled and filthy is exchanged for that which is clean and pure.
Take hold of the plough for the harvest is ripe and ready! The uprooting will make way for planting and building. This is your greatest season yet. Believe the word of the Lord as written in Joel 2:25,26:
I will restore to you the years
that the swarming locust has eaten,
the hopper, the destroyer, and the cutter,
my great army, which I sent among you.
“You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied,
and praise the name of the LORD your God,
who has dealt wondrously with you.
This is the year to conquer as we build the House of the Lord within the nations. He is our God and we are His people. The shaking has been to bring forth a remnant who love and trust Him above everything, through whom He can work to accomplish His Kingdom purposes upon the earth.’
The one who conquers, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God. Never shall he go out of it, and I will write on him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down from my God out of heaven, and my own new name. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’ (Rev. 3:12,13)
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say to the LORD, “My refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”
For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler
and from the deadly pestilence.
He will cover you with his pinions,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness is a shield and buckler.
You will not fear the terror of the night,
nor the arrow that flies by day,
nor the pestilence that stalks in darkness,
nor the destruction that wastes at noonday.
A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
You will only look with your eyes
and see the recompense of the wicked.
Because you have made the LORD your dwelling place—
the Most High, who is my refuge—
no evil shall be allowed to befall you,
no plague come near your tent.
For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways.
On their hands they will bear you up,
lest you strike your foot against a stone.
You will tread on the lion and the adder;
the young lion and the serpent you will trample underfoot.
“Because he holds fast to me in love, I will deliver him;
I will protect him, because he knows my name.
When he calls to me, I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble;
I will rescue him and honor him.
With long life I will satisfy him
and show him my salvation.”
